Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+)
Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) is low-cost health insurance for Colorado's uninsured children and pregnant women. CHP+ is public health insurance for children and pregnant women who earn too much to qualify for Medicaid, but cannot afford private health insurance. (800) 359-1991 (Monday—Friday 8am to 6pm)
Centers of Medicare & Medicaid Services
Medicare is for people age 65 or older, people under age 65 with certain disabilities, and people of all ages with End-Stage Renal Disease (permanent kidney failure requiring dialysis or a kidney transplant).
Medicaid is available only to certain low-income individuals and families who fit into an eligibility group that is recognized by federal and state law.
